The selected contractor for landslide mitigation works at Lot No. 05 (RLVMMP/WORKS/07-LOT 05) of Package 07, M/s Edward & Christie (Pvt.) Ltd. has taken over all the sites on 08th February 2023.
The work consists of constructions such as Soil nailing, retaining walls, Horizontal drains and surface drains as slope rectification measures located at Site No. 80 – Pelawatta – Neluwa Road (B363) in Between Culvert No. 18/3 – 18/4, Site No. 84 – Palawatta – Neluwa Road, Culvert No. 25/3 – 25/4, Site No. 87 – Palawatta – Neluwa Road (B363), Culvert No. 17/5 – 18/1, Site No. 89 – Hewessa Kanishta Vidyalaya and Site No. 90 – Gammana Mahavidyalaya in Kalutara District.
The representatives from the respective schools, Grama Niladhari of the respective GN Divisions, and the officials from PMU were joined for this event.
