Implementation Review Mission for the Reduction of Landslide Vulnerability by Mitigation Measures Project (RLVMMP) was conducted from 10th July to 14th July 2023.
The mission was led by Mr. Tomás Herrero (Project Team Leader, PTL) and included Ms. Nurul Mutmainnah (Financial Management Consultant), Mr. Rizal Rival (Procurement Consultant) as members.

Mission Field Visit from 11th July 2023 to 12th July 2023
The mission field visit was conducted on 12 pre-selected sites from 11th July 2023 to 12th July 2023 with the participation of Mr. Tomás Herrero (Project Team Leader, PTL), Geol. R M S Bandara (Project Director), officials from the Department of External Resources (ERD), a representative from the line ministry (Ministry of Defence) and officials from the Project Management Unit (PMU).
Further, the Divisional Secretaries, representatives from the Divisional Secretariats, Local Authorities, Road Development Authority (RDA), Grama Niladhari, the Director of National Hospital – Kandy, the Principal of Nurses Training School – Kandy, and key staff members of the relevant contractors also joined the mission at the sites.
