The Pre-bid site visit was conducted on 06th October 2022 to the site between culvert no. 31/1 and 31/2 on Hatton – Maskeliya – Delhouse Road (B–149) in Ambagamuwa Divisional Secretariate area of Nuwara-Eliya Districts (Site No. 148 Nallathanniya in Package 09 of Phase II of RLVMMP) which needs emergency failed slope repair works before the starting of next “Siripada” season. This event was organized in view of the Civil Works Contract RLVMMP/WORKS/09 and aims to provide an introduction about the site and area to the contractors who are willing to participate in the bidding process.
The AIIB team consisted of Mr. Michael Tessitore, P.E., AIIB Consultant, representing the Ministry of Defence, Additional Secretary (Disaster Management Division), Director of Planning & Development (Disaster Management Division), Additional GA (Nuwara-Eliya), Divisional Secretary (Ambagamuwa) Assistant Divisional Secretary of Ambagamuwa, Estate Manager of the Maskeliya Plantation, Grama Niladhari of Seethagangula GN Division, representatives from the relevant government organizations such as NBRO, RDA, CEA, GSMB and representatives of seven (07) contractors were joined for this event.
