Applications are hereby invited from Sri Lankan Citizens for the following positions for the Project Management Unit (PMU) of the Reduction of Landslide Vulnerability by Mitigation Measures Project (RLVMMP) funded by the Asian Infrastructure Development Bank (AIIB). The Implementing Agency of this project is the National Building Research Organization under the Defence Ministry. Landslide mitigation works (Locations) in Badulla, Kandy, Matale, Kegalle, Ratnapura, Nuwara Eliya, Kalutara, Galle, Matara, Hambantota & Kurunegala districts and unstable locations along the railway track will be mitigated under this Project. Critical 24 sites were mitigated/ Rectified under Phase I and balance sites will be mitigated/rectified under Phase II.
Internal Auditor (PS4 -1 Position)
1. Successfully completed Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field recognized by the University Grants Commission
or
Qualification Recognized by the University Grants Commission as an equivalent qualification to the degree in the relevant field
or
An association Membership/similar qualification obtained from a recognized professional institution in the relevant field
With at least 8 years post qualification experience in the relevant field.
2. An officer of the Government Accountancy Service Class III/II with at least 8 years experience in class III/II post
Experience in Internal Auditing Experience in Foreign Funded projects is preferable.
General Conditions
The recruitments will be initially for one year on a contract basis, and renewable thereafter annually subject to satisfactory performance.
Salaries and other conditions for the positions will be as per Management Services Circular No 01/2019.
EPF and ETF contribution by employer is 12% and 3% and the contribution for EPF by the employee is 8% of the monthly salary.
The age limit should be below 64 years at the date of closing applications.
