Aiming the critical importance of seamlessly executing the landslide mitigation civil construction works along the Main Railway line from Rambukkana Railway Station to Badulla Railway Station under Package 08, to ensure the successful and timely completion of the Package, the PMU convened a special meeting for all stakeholders to discuss the way forward and buildup shared understanding.
This meeting was held on 10th May 2024, at 10.00 am, at Peradeniya Rest House, Peradeniya.
Dr. Asiri Karunawardena (DG – NBRO), Geol. R M S Bandara (PD – RLVMMP), Mr. Deegala (CE Way & Works, SLR) with other representatives from Sri Lanka Railway, officials from three contractors selected for this Package, RR Construction (Pvt) Ltd, Sanguine Sri Ram JV, ELS Construction Pvt Ltd and officers from the PMU participated for the event.
