The mitigation completed site, Site No: 026 Gangarama Viharaya, Athelthota, Kalutara in Package 02 was handed over to the following responsible parties on 13th October 2023.
- Chief monk of Gangarama Viharaya, Athelthota, Kalutara
- Private landowner of adjacent land to temple premises.
- Executive Engineer – Road Development Authority – Agalawatta
The event was covered with a brief presentation about the site and the mitigation works that took place, conducted by the PMU officials.
The Chief monk of the temple, Representatives from the Divisional Secretariat Palindanuwara, Grama Niladhari of the area and members of “Dayaka Sabha” participated in the event.
