The RLVMMP officials together with officials from the Ministry of Defence (line ministry) conducted a joint field visit to Package 4A, 4B & 4C sites in Kandy, Kurunegala, Kegalle and Gampaha District on 26th and 27th August 2022.
Mr. Deepal Siribaddana, Additional Secretary, Disaster Management Division of Ministry of Defence, Mr. R M S Bandara, Project Director – RLVMMP, Mr. Laksiri Indrathilake, Senior Geologist PMU – RLVMMP, officials from the construction supervision consultancy team and representatives of the contractors, M/s Geo Engineering- Denudation JV, M/s ICC Finex JV and M/s ELS Construction (Pvt) Ltd were joined to this Field Visit.
It is aimed to review the progress of the ongoing construction works of Package 4A, 4B and 4C and to identify the key issues which are causing the delay in the construction works.
