The Environmental & Social Awareness programme was held at National Hospital – Kandy (Site No: 035/063 of Package 05B) on 22nd September 2023. Representing the PMU, Geo. Laksiri Indrathilake (Snr. Geologist), Ms. Madara Dissanayake (Snr. E&S Expert) conducted the programme.
The civil works contractor of this site M/s R R Construction has arranged the event and their Environmental & Social Officer, also conducted a presentation about the Environmental & Social arrangements at the Site.
The Director of the Hospital, Principle of the NTS, Mr. Susrutha Goonasekara (Snr. Social Development Specialist – AIIB), Hospital Staff, representatives from the RR Construction and officials from the PMU participated in this event.
